If the DV 2026 results show that you have been selected, you will need to make haste in filling the necessary forms after which you will be allocated an interview date at the US Embassy.

You will also be required to do a medical check. Immigration medical checks are exclusively done at the United Nations’ IOM Immigration Health Assessment centre at Gigiri.

It is important to understand that getting selected is not always a guarantee that you will immigrate to the US. This is because the program selects more applicants than the available slots. This also means that to boost your chances when selected, you will need to be quick in filling and submitting the required documentations.
