Willis Raburu quits TV47

Co-Op post

Renowned media personality Willis Raburu has departed from the Cape Media-owned TV station TV47 barely a year after joining the company.

Sources indicate that the Wabebe experience show host bid farewell to the company days after announcing the suspension of the show.

Raburu joined TV47 on August 27, 2023, nearly two months after exiting Royal Media Services (RMS) owned Citizen TV, where he had worked for 13 years.

At TV47, he was tasked with hosting the Wabebe Experience entertainment show, which aired on Fridays at 10 pm.

Three months after joining the company, he was appointed as Director of Digital Services and Innovations where his roles included reporting to the CEO and driving the continuous evolution of TV47, Radio 47, and 47 Digital products.
