Kenya currently has a difficult employment situation affecting not only the youth population, but the nation as a whole. It is no longer a problem for just the uneducated. Enculturing entrepreneurship is a great weapon to counteract unemployment, as entrepreneurs make massive contributions to the growth and development of our economy by opening doors to new ventures, new business and new alliances, but to mention a few.

“In order to encourage more women to start businesses, motivate women in business to increase their investment in the sector, and to illuminate innovative best approaches in achieving the four pillars of the government˝ Ms Mary added.

Women have the power to shape and transform communities through purchasing power, leadership and employment opportunities offered through their businesses.
