On Tuesday, June 21st, the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) both issued notices revealing job opportunities for Kenyans with 75 slots available. The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has a total slot opening of 45 jobs while the Public Service Commission (PSC) has 30 slots available.
45 Kenya Urban Roads Authority jobs
KURA seeks to employ individuals with a wide range of expertise ranging from those with university qualifications to those with only KCSE certificates. The positions include members of the board of directors, Deputy Directors for Engineering and Quality Assurance, Engineers, Land Surveyor, Assistant Office Administrator, Inspectors and Drivers. The Engineers position has 18 vacant slots available.

Interested Applicants should visit the state corporation’s web portal (kura.go.ke) to get the full details about the vacancies
Once filled, the envelope should be hand-delivered to KURA’s JKIA office in Nairobi and specifically dropped in the application boxes located on the first-floor East Wing.
“Candidates who meet the set criteria should apply in writing by downloading the mandatory KURA Job Application Form provided on the website, fill all required fields, sign and date the form and attach certified copies of certificates and transcripts, testimonials, curriculum vitae and a cover letter.”
“Completed application forms together with cover letter, certified copies of stated documents to be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope with the respective job reference number clearly marked on the envelope,” specified the notice.
Applications should be made before July 11, 2022.
30 Public Service Commission jobs
The Public Service Commission on the other hand is in need of examiners in 10 sectors which are;
Accounts, Supply Chain Management, Human Records Management (as practiced in Government), Business Calculations, Office Practice, Public Relations and Customer Care, Government Organizations Functions and Practice, Governance and civil Service Regulations and Communication skills.
Each of the sectors are looking to recruit 3 employees who meet the set criteria for a total 30 vacant jobs opening.
The overall objective of the engagement is to undertake a capacity building program in test development and marking of promotional examinations administered by the Public Service Commission including:
- The Proficiency Examination for Clerical Officers;
- The Administrative Officers’ Examination;
- The Assistant Legal Metrology Officers Examination Parts I& II.
The minimum requirements for engagement as an examiner is academic and professional qualifications; a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area, At least six years experience.
