Kevin Mboya, a digital media consultant received a 3-day holiday trip to Mombasa yesterday, courtesy of Maasai Expeditions. The trip was granted to him to help him heal his heartbreak.
Kevin seems to take everything well into stride now after being humiliated over the weekend by his ex-girlfriend. He seems to be enjoying life at the free getaway.
“Don’t be afraid of new beginnings,” Kevin quoted while on the sandy beaches next to a female mzungu.
“We all deserve special moments like these. This is the year to shoot your shot in everything you do. Now I can see those red flags from far away,” he wrote in different posts.
He vowed not to visit Kwale County after his three-years-girlfriend dumped him.
“We will fly him to Mombasa for three days for an interrupted beach getaway with flights, accommodation, meals and all drinks on us. By the time he returns to Nairobi, he would have forgotten the lady who broke his heart,” said Pancras Karema, Maasai Expeditions CEO.
Kevin Mboya became an online sensation over the weekend after he traveled from Nairobi to Kwale to surprise his lover, only to be in for a shock.
The man took to Twitter to share how he would traverse the country to South Coast, with a bunch of flowers just to surprise his Kwale girlfriend outside her office on her birthday.
Many termed his appreciative gesture as romantic, while the majority of Kenyans were anxious to know how the surprise visit went.
“I have traveled all the way from Nairobi to Kwale to come and surprise my girlfriend on her birthday. I haven’t texted or called in the last 24 hours, she maybe thinks I forgot it’s her birthday. I am waiting for her just outside her office to surprise her. I hope it goes well,” he boldly wrote on Twitter.
The tweet has earned over 6.8 Million impressions on Twitter and Kenyans wanted the nitty gritty updates, claiming that the surprise had become a matter of national interest.

Unfortunately, it was a surprise that went wrong. Per verified sources, the lady rejected Mboya. She told him she was not interested in him anymore.
Mboya returned to Nairobi and released a short video on his YouTube Channel expressing his disappointment. He did not divulge deep into details of what transpired.
Here is what he said in the short clip: “While leaving for Kwale, I went there with love but I have come back with room for more love. Thank you for your concern…more about what happened in Kwale, I will share it soon,” Mboya said.
Mboya said he would be healing from the humiliation he received from his girlfriend. He noted he learned his lesson and would take some time off the dating scene.
