Spanning half a decade, Eliud Kipchoge has been the brand ambassador of Isuzu Company in Kenya. The 159 units are inspired by Kipchoge’s record-breaking victory in the INEOS marathon on the bespoke Vienna course.

He made history by becoming the first man to run a marathon in under two hours, covering 1:59:41.

“We want to celebrate Kipchoge’s success in a different way as a company considering that we have gained a lot since our partnership started in 2017,” Rita Kavashe noted during the model’s launch.

The price tag for the Eliud Kipchoge 1:59 Special Limited Edition D-Max is expected to be around Sh. 5 million. Kipchoge will be the first to drive one, with the number plate 001.

During his speech at the model’s launch, Kipchoge emphasized the importance of developing a mindset for success, citing integrity, self-discipline, belief in oneself and having the right character as crucial factors to achieving greatness.

“Setting goals is a temporary measure but having the right systems help achieve them is permanent” he asserted in his motivational speech.
