KCB Group Director Marketing and Communication Rosalind Gichuru noted that the bank looks forward to improving its rankings during this year’s competition. That is why it has embarked on a rigorous selection process to build competitive teams representing the bank well.

“We want to leave a mark in this year’s competitions, so we are starting early in our preparations. Our competitors should expect a much stronger team in KCB, one that will be out to cause upsets throughout the tournament period,” Rosalind said.

Last year, the bank dominated in the Lawn Tennis category as the duo of Robert Mburu and Peter Njuguna Mwangi clinched 1st place. KCB also caused major upsets against its opponents in Athletics as the team comprised of Morgan Rangita, Bethwel Kipchoge, and William Kumo came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, respectively, in the 200 meters race. Bethwel Kipchoge took home the 800 meters crown.
