The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has revealed the most expensive and cheapest banks to borrow from.
In the latest Commercial Banks Weighted Average Lending Rates report, CBK published the interest rates for all banks across the country.
According to the report, Middle East Bank has the most expensive loans in the country, with an interest rate of 20.96 percent while Premier Bank Kenya is the least costly lender at nine percent.
Access Bank, which charges an average of 11.37 percent, is the second cheapest lender, followed by Diamond Trust Bank, Consolidated Bank, and Kingdom Bank.
