Safaricom has announced a new offer for all its customers as it marks 24 years since launching its services in the country.
In a statement, the telecommunication giant said customers will get a refund of transaction fees for their first send-money transaction on Wednesday, October 23.
“Thank you for 24 years. Safaricom will refund the transaction fee for your first M-PESA send money transaction of the day,” Safaricom stated.
The telco thanked its customers for supporting its growth since its launch in Kenya.

“As Safaricom marks 24 years of connecting Kenyans, I want to take a moment to thank you, our loyal customers, for making us part of your lives,” Safaricom CEO Peter Ndgwa said.

The telco further announced a 25 percent discount on the Business Fibre 50 Mbps package for the first month.
