The Nation Media Group (NMG) has launched a brand new show that will be hosted by popular journalists Eric Latiff and Janet Mbugua. The duo will be joined on the show by journalist Mariam Bishar.
The new show that has been dubbed ‘Fixing the Nation’ will be hosted on Nation Fm and NTV Kenya.
“[We have launched] a bold and groundbreaking show that will take an unflinching look at the challenges facing the Kenyan society – and the solutions that can move us forward,” the Nation Media Group Editor in Chief Joe Ageyo said.
“We have always championed journalism that informs, empowers, and inspires change. [The new show] will be a space for honest conversations – deep dives into issues that affect all of us, driven by solution journalism, expert insights, and public voices.”
The new Fixing the Nation show will air every weekday on NTV, Nation FM and digitally on the media house’s platforms from 6am to 10am.
The new show comes barely weeks after Eric Latiff left the Standard Media Group’s Spice FM for NMG. Shortly after Latiff’s entry into the NMG family, the media group announced that Mbugua had also joined NTV after an eight-year break from the mainstream media that started when she left Royal Media Group’s Citizen Tv.
