Onyango and Tarus, a Nairobi-based company has announced the sale of various vehicles through public auction.
In an advert published in a local daily on Monday, the company said the cars would be sold at different selling points across the country including Grey Post Yard in Nairobi and Blackbird Yard in Kisumu.
Among the advertised vehicles are a 2001 model Subaru Legacy going for Sh160,000, a 2008 Nissan Vanette Manual (Sh108,000), and a 2006 Toyota Probox (Sh255,000)
Other listed vehicles are a 2008 Toyota Corolla Axio Nze141 (Sh362,000), a 2007 Toyota Vitz (Sh315,000), a Toyota Hilux Surf (Sh828,000), a Nissan Presage (Sh299,000), a 2014 Toyota Probox Nep55 (Sh439,000), and a 2008 Toyota Probox 1.5 (Sh322,000).

Interested bidders will also get a chance to purchase a 2001 Mitsubishi Fuso Fn217, a 2005 Nissan Hardbody J66/J70, and a 2010 Isuzu FAR, all going for Sh753,000, Sh598,000, and Sh1,710,000 respectively.
”We are inviting offers from interested parties for the purchase of motor vehicles as listed below by way of private treaty on March 4, 2025,” the auction notice stated.
It further clarified that the vehicles will be sold by way of the public treaty and sales agreements can be reached on March 4, 2025, at the auctioneer’s houses in Nairobi at the KMA center in Upper Hill.
