KNH doctor who worked for free dies after hospital allegedly denied him treatment
Following the news of the death of Edward Kwach, fellow radio journalists have come out to mourn him and celebrate his long radio career. Maina Kageni who worked with Kwach at Radio Africa mourned him as follows:
“One of the best things to ever happen to me was meeting Edward Carey Francis Kwach…. his energy and go getter attitude certainly rubbed off on us… then we started a radio show together on Kiss 100 alongside Arjun Vidiyarthi, then Ciku Muiruri then Cess Mutungi… and I realized that I was working with a broadcast genius….
Edward, I’ve said this oh so often – you were the greatest radio personality Kenya  has ever produced… I can only celebrate you and your legacy… go well… Eric Ndavi is waiting for you… and we must, inevitably, join you… till then, adios… we love you…
To Sire Edgar Kwach, Otto, Shaka, Richard, Mama Emma and The Don Vito, you are in my thoughts and prayers… poleni sana…”
