Vernacular television queen Muthoni Mukiri is one of the high profile media personalities who left their jobs in 2020. The presenter now says that quitting Inooro Tv was probably the hardest decision she has ever made.
In a recent broadcast on her YouTube channel, Ms. Mukiri alluded that she may have quit her job to concentrate on entrepreneurship. “I wanted to quit employment but I didn’t know where to begin. I had already set up side hustles and investments but the nature of my job made me grow closer to my audience. I feel like they’re my children.” she said.

Muthoni said that she was anxious that she would lose the connection she had been enjoying with the audience once she quit her full-time job. “I went through a lot of anxiety and migraines before making the decision. It really broke my heart to leave but I had to do it for my personal gain,” she said.
