Popular comedian Mzee Jalas has reacted angrily after actor actor Omosh whose real name is Joseph Kinuthia came out to say that he is broke again and needs help.
Mzee Jalas, who was one of the Kenyans who came out to help Omosh has slammed Omosh over what he termed as stupidity.
Jalang’o said that Omosh got more than Sh. 1 million from his show, Sh. 700,000 from his pocket, a piece of land from Zero-Hero Properties, a house from Sung Timber, Sh. 100,000 in cash, and a Sh. 60,000 shopping from Hon. Alinur among other things.
“Some people never learn! I can easily assure you that Omosh got more than KSh 1m from my show. Personally in cash, he got more than KSh 700k, then the people who sent money directly to him! Hii ni ujinga” Jalang’o said.
Omosh: Help me again, well-wishers gave me less than Sh. 1 million
Actor Omosh had on Friday alleged that people had made pledges that were never fulfilled. He had said that he had spent all the donations he got paying debt and now he was broke again.
Omosh said that well wishers have me less than Sh. 1 million which wasn’t adequate to get him off the ground. Omosh had managed to gain public sympathy and help in kind and cash after he tearfully disclosed that he had run into financial struggles and was in rent arrears of Sh 100,000.
“People pledged money that I have never received. I got less than a million which I used to settle my debts,” he said in an interview with TV47. Omosh said that as soon as the wave of sympathy ended, some of those who had promised help turned their attention elsewhere.
