Affordable Estates in Nairobi: A report by HassConsult has revealed the most expensive and the most affordable estates in Nairobi today.
According to the report, Gigiri has the most expensive houses, making it the most expensive area to acquire a home. On the extreme opposite, Kiserian has the most affordable houses.
On average, it will cost you about Sh. 120.7 million to get a home in Gigiri. Gigiri neighbours the United Nations, and multiple diplomatic missions such as the US, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Belgium and Norway.
Nyari estate is the second most expensive to acquire a home. Here, it will cost you Sh. 103.6 million to get a home.
On average, in Westlands you will cough up Sh. 54.9 million for a home, and in Runda, you will pay up Sh. 95.9 million. Other estates in the city with pricey houses include Karen at an average of Sh. 89.6 million, Kitisuru at Sh. 86.4 million, Muthaiga at Sh. 84.8 million and Spring Valley at Sh. 63.3 million.

On the affordable side, Kiserian, Rongai and Juja are the areas with the fairer priced homes. In Kiserian, you will pay Sh. 8.9 million for a home, while in Rongai homes are going for at average of Sh. 10.7 million. In Juja the cost of homes stands at an average of Sh. 11 million. In Limuru and Kitengela, you will pay Sh. 27 million and Sh. 11 million for homes.
