Circular Economy Catalyst (CEC), a firm that supports circular economy enterprises through targeted incubation and acceleration programs, is calling on entrepreneurs to apply for its 2024 workshop set to take place in various parts of the country.
The 2-day workshop will take place in Kisumu and Nakuru on 4 – 5 April 2024 and 11 – 12 April 2024, respectively.
It targets individuals looking for insights to start a circular business as well as already established entrepreneurs looking for industry collaboration with other successful entrepreneurs worldwide.
”The 2-Day Circular Economy Catalyst Replicator Workshop uses proven methods and solution examples to support circular economy entrepreneurship. During the event, you will identify sector-specific market opportunities, explore impact-generating activities, and learn about key elements of successful business models,’’ CEC stated.
”You will work on own ideas and get equipped to replicate elements of viable and impactful business models to your local context. This will help your circular start-up tackle environmental & social challenges while generating sustainable economic returns,’’ it added.

Selected Participants will receive expert guidance and tailored support to build their enterprise as well as get access to a sector-specific, comprehensive Workbook.
In addition, participants will learn about the tools used by realworld circular enterprises and get in touch & collaborate with originators of already established and successful businesses.
CEC also notes that the workshop will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to network and share peer learning opportunities with like-minded entrepreneurs.
”Selected participants will be inspired by a variety of successful case studies. Successful participants can apply for follow-up support at the CEC Starter Programme,’’ it stated.
While participation in the 2-day workshop is FREE for all selected participants, CEC clarified that participants must arrange transport and accommodation on their own.
