Renowned Kenyan journalist and Chams Media founder Alex Chamwada is celebrating one of his ex-security guards and mentee’s great achievement after graduating as a journalist.
Chamwada took to social media on Thursday to congratulate Bwabi Isaya, who graduated from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) in Eldoret.
He noted that Isaya developed an interest in journalism while working as a Security guard at Chams Media.
He would later transition to working behind the camera before deciding to enroll in a journalism school, thanks to Chamwada, who guided him throughout the journey.
