Bizna Kenya partners with PlayOn to empower youth through digital innovation

Bizna Kenya, a leading platform championing entrepreneurship and youth empowerment, has partnered with PlayOn to empower youths through digital innovation and entrepreneurship.

The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony held in Nairobi, with the leadership teams from both Bizna Kenya and Rubik’s Digital -PlayOn holding company,  present.

“This is more than a partnership — it’s the beginning of a powerful collaboration that connects business, innovation, and youth culture,” Bizna Kenya CEO, Tonnie Mello, said.

“Gaming is no longer just about play. It is a dynamic force driving creativity, community, and the digital economy. Through this partnership with PlayOn, we aim to inspire and equip the youth to win in the business of gaming and beyond,” he added.

The collaboration will focus on creating digital pathways for youth empowerment by combining entrepreneurship and gaming.

Key initiatives include launching business-themed gaming tournaments to build awareness and skills and introducing gamified learning experiences to make entrepreneurship more engaging.

Additionally, through the partnership, Bizna Kenya will host gaming showcases and digital content creation sessions at the upcoming Bizna Clubhouse — a creative space for youth and influencers under the Bizna Kenya banner.

Another area of focus is promoting inclusive digital access by targeting underrepresented and rural communities.

Commenting on the partnership, Rubik’s Digital CEO Antony Okeyo expressed his enthusiasm, noting that the partnership not only empowers the youth but also creates an opportunity for Kenyans to earn.

“Partnering with Bizna Kenya opens up new opportunities for us to deliver more value to our users. This partnership aligns with our mission to empower the youth not just as gamers, but as digital innovators and entrepreneurs.”

Since its launch, the PlayOn app, available on the Google Play Store, has rapidly gained traction among Kenyan youths.

The app offers various eSports that keep youths entertained and educated, while creating opportunities for them to earn.

As Kenya continues to cement its place as a leader in Africa’s digital revolution, the Bizna Kenya–PlayOn partnership is a timely move to ensure young people are not left behind but are instead at the forefront of innovation, monetization, and sustainable impact.

Bizna Kenya calls upon government agencies, private sector players, and development partners to support this digital empowerment agenda by investing in the intersection of business and youth-driven technology.

“The game is on,” concluded Tonnie Mello. “Let’s build something unforgettable — for the youth, for the future, for Kenya.”
