Caroline Kangogo Search: The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has admitted that it is unable to independently trace and find Caroline Kangogo. The DCI has then formed a multi agency which has seen the unit call on the military for help.
The unit is now planning to search for the rogue police woman physically. The search is expected to be mounted on major roads along the Nairobi, Nakuru, Eldoret, Mombasa routes. “We have expanded our hunt to major highways, hotels, lodges and other places where we feel she could be hiding. Soon we shall arrest her,” a detective investigating the matter said.
This team is also planning to start conducting searches in bars, restaurants, and lodgings. This indicates the desperation and the lack of clues on where the killer cop accused of killing two men could be.
“It has been challenging tracking down the officer because she no longer uses her phone. However, our team has stepped up the hunt,” said Nakuru County Criminal Investigations Officer Anthony Sunguti.
The authorities have also called on Ms. Kangogo to surrender herself. Ms. Kangogo has been hitting the headlines for a week now after she killed a fellow police officer in Nakuru County, and within hours killed another man in a lodging in Juja, Kiambu. She killed the two men by shooting them in the head.

Days after committing the killings, Ms. Kangogo sent her estranged husband a text message threatening him with death. Her estranged husband is also a police officer. Ms. Kangogo has been occupying the position of corporal at the Kenya Police. She was based in Nakuru Town.
Caroline was last traced at Drive Inn near Mathare slums where detectives laid traps to nab her in vain. They then tried to lay another trap for her at Kahawa Wendani but Kangogo managed to evade the authorities. The detectives say after committing her latest murder in Juja, Caroline withdrew Sh. 40,000 from a bank in Juja, Kiambu County.
