When the bodies of the late Vincent Bosire Nyambunde and Angela Moraa were discovered inside a locked apartment in Nyamataro area in Kisii, the initial conclusion was that the two had died by suicide.
However, this theory has now been put into question as more details regarding the deaths emerge.
According to the police, a pair of syringes and bottles of medical drugs were recovered close to the bodies, which initially suggested a well-planned death.
It was not mysterious that the couple could have accessed the syringes and medical drugs, given that Nyambundo worked as a medical intern at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
His girlfriend Angela Moraa had just returned to Kenya from the US a few days beforw thwir bodies were discovered.
Detectives looking into the deaths have found no motive as to why Angela may have decided to die by suicide, which has further cast doubt on whether she really died by suicide or not.

According to detectives, there is probability that she may have been killed first. Reports say that when the bodies of Angela and Bosire were discovered, Angela’s body had decomposed to a larger extent in comparison to Bosire’s, suggesfing that the two may not have died on the same day.
At the same time, a report that was published earlier in the week by The Standard newspaper stated that the the woman had been treated at the  KTRH following a botched suicide by ingestion of an unidentified chemical. The daily reported that it was yet to be clear how she may have left the hospital, only to be found dead in the house of the medical intern boyfriend, claiming in the report that the lady may also have been married.
