A few days after a photo of State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi and CITIZEN TV reporter Jacque Maribe kissing passionately surfaced on the internet, Itumbi has come out to deny claims that the two are love birds. Mr. Itumbi on Tuesday clarified that he and Ms. Maribe were just close, good friends.
Mr. Itumbi, who has recently been seen as getting cosy with Ms. Maribe refused to explain when or where the photo was taken. Coincidentally, the photo surfaced a few days after comedian Eric Omondi admitted to the Pulse Magazine that he and Jacque Maribe were an item at some point.
However, it was not clear if Eric Omondi and Ms. maribe were still dating, with Omondi quoted as saying that they were good friends and that he had ‘moved on’. Last year, a photo of Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe kissing surfaced online and Mr. Omondi was said to have been the one who funded Ms. Ms. Maribe’s All White Birthday party last year.
Rumours of Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe dating came to the surface after Ms. Maribe became pregnant with her son, with alleged claims that Mr. Omondi was her baby daddy, claims Mr. Omondi denied at some point.
Ms. Maribe has previously been associated romantically with Mr. Oliver Mathenge, a journalist with The Star newspaper.
