DT Dobie Express Service Centre – COVID-19 Driving Demand For Car Servicing in Shorter Times

The limitations imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak on the time available for motorists to have work carried out on their cars is raising the demand for the DT Dobie Express Service. This is carried out at a dedicated Centre in the Company’s Lusaka road facility which offers a choice of minor and major service.

Typical service includes changing engine oil and filter, inspection of transmission fluids, brake system, suspension system, exhaust system among other systems in the vehicle. Customers are also advised should any manufacturer software update be necessary. The service is done on first come first serve basis. The service is available from at 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM and Saturdays from 8.00 AM till 1.00 PM

Bartholomew Osoro, the service advisor in charge of the Express Service Centre explained, “Each car is allocated a technician unless it is major work requiring more man power.   A technician takes about one hour to carry out the minor service and a minimum of two hours for a major one.”
