This issue has stirred a serious online debate. Veronicah Wanjiru Nganga, who divorced Fidel Odinga in 2012, was insulted by Fidel’s uncle, Dr Oburu Odinga, and his sister, Ruth Odinga.

The two said Veronicah was after Fidel’s money and that is why she failed to sire a child with him.

They also called her a “barren woman” who was not able to sire a child with Fidel.
