The 97.5 percent discounted price for the phone is part of a bouquet of irresistible deals Kenya’s biggest online retailer Jumia is offering its shoppers for its Black Friday sale promotion that starts on 13th November 2017.

This and other discounts will be available starting this coming Sunday night at 11.59 PM.

“We know customers are always on the lookout for the best deals. I can assure you that this year’s Jumia BlackFriday Festival 2017 will not only meet their expectations but also provide shoppers with seamless customer experience and protection,” Jumia Kenya Managing director Sam Chappatte said on Monday.

According to Chappatte, Jumia website would see a significant increase in inventory across all categories including: fashion, electronics, phones, computers, home, baby, health, beauty, travel, and food, with up to 80 percent discount off regular prices on up to 500,000 products from 5,000 vendor merchants.

Shoppers also stand chances to win various prizes including tickets to Jumia Black Friday concert where Kenya’s leading band Sauti Sol will be performing.

The concert will take place on the 23rd of November 2017 at the Alchemist, Westlands featuring among other artists like H-Art the Band and stand up comedy performers, MC Jesse and Teacher Wanjiku.

This year’s Jumia’s Black Friday will last for 30 days starting on Monday, 13th November to 13th December.
