Jalang'o enrolls in aviation school to achieve childhood pilot dream

Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, the Member of Parliament representing the Lang’ata constituency, has shared that he is pursuing his childhood dream of becoming a pilot.

He disclosed that he is currently enrolled in a flying school at Wilson Airport to learn how to fly an aeroplane.

Jalang’o has always harboured the ambition of flying an aeroplane, and he is now closer to realizing it, with plans to obtain a license once he completes his studies.

Expressing enthusiasm towards his studies, Jalas mentioned some of his fellow classmates. He hopes that one day soon, his voice will be heard over the control tower, requesting permission to land a plane.

“I just need a private pilot license. One day you will see a plane approaching the airport and it will be my voice asking the control towers for permission to land,” Jalang’o stated.

Jalang’o explained that he chose to keep the news of his return to school private to avoid potential criticism from individuals who might claim that he is using public funds to finance his education.

“DJ Joe Mfalme is in class, I am also in the class, but I have never shared photos because people will start claiming that I am using public money which is not true,” Jalang’o asserted.

Recently, the MP expressed his desire to lead Kenya as the president in an undated video at a funeral. Speaking at Citizen TV, Jalang’o confirmed these desires within the next five years.

“One day if Baba (Raila) will never be the President, I will be the first Luo president. If he doesn’t win the next election and doesn’t be the first Luo ever to be elected President, I will be the commander in chief. All I pray for is life,” he said.

On March 19th, Jalang’o admitted to working with President Ruto to learn his skills on how to win an election.

“I went to Ruto to learn skills of winning elections because Ruto has never lost elections since he entered politics. I went to learn how he has been getting it tight whether it’s stealing or other ways,” he said.
