KCPE 2021 Results: Top pupil is from GilGil Academy with 428

KCPE 2021 results have been released. Magata Bruce Mackenzie emerged as the top student with 428 points out of the possible 500 points.

Magata was a pupil from GilGil Academy from Nakuru County. Ashley Kerubo from the Makini School came second with 427 marks. In the exams, 11,857 pupils scored 400 marks and above.

Last year, Faith Mumo from Kari Mwailu Primary School in Makueni county emerged top with 433 marks.

The tests started on March 7 and were concluded on March 9. The results were released by Education cabinet secretary, George Magoha will announce the results at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) headquarters in Nairobi (Mitihani House) after presenting them to President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier on Monday morning.

According to the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec), 1,225,507 candidates were registered for the examinations. The figure is 33,755 more than those who sat the 2020 examinations.

After the official announcement of the results, candidates can immediately get their results by sending their index number to SMS code 20076. The charges will be Sh. 25 per text message.
