Ken Mijungu Porsche: KTN news anchor Ken Mijungu has acquired the luxurious Porsche Cayenne. The new vehicle is said to be white in colour and is barely a month old under his ownership.
This acquisition comes hot on the heels of Mijungu’s protest to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over his Landcruiser Prado J150 which was stolen weeks after he acquired it.
A spot check in the market indicates that Mijungu’s current ride may have cost him anywhere between Sh. 10 million and Sh. 18 million brand new. In the second hand cars market, the same vehicle goes for between Sh. 4 million and Sh. 8 million.
The second hand Porsche Cayenne 2014 comes packed with the following standard features:

- 300 @ 6,300 rpm Horsepower.
- 295 @ 3,000 rpm Torque.
- all wheel Drive type.
- ABS and driveline Traction control.

The 2021 Cayenne on the other hand is powered by a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 making 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds (or 5.6 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package). The Cayenne S uses a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.
It can accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.9 seconds (or 4.6 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package) and continue on toward a top track speed of 164 mph. A responsive eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission is included as standard equipment across the Cayenne line. Fully variable Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive is standard on all Cayenne models. Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) technology offers a finish that increases friction values while reducing wear and brake dust.
It was however not clear if the vehicle is part of the luxurious vehicle hiring side hustle that Mijungu runs.
