Dealing with Body Shamers

Kalala also opened up on her body shaming experience which was a constant routine.

She says that despite putting on a brave face after being body shamed, she cries in the night since there is nothing she can do to end the trolling on social media.

“Honestly inaboo. 24 years hazijakuja,” Kalala said in her usual humorous way.

“Kulia ni lazima. Lakini hiyo ni ya usiku tu, and then we strike at dawn,” she said.

She also does not hold back at those who body shame her. She says disrespect is a two-way lane.

“What I like about being body shamed is that I also get to do it back. It gives me a chance to body shame people back. It’s not about me a celebrity that I have to speak with respect. If that’s how we are taking, then let’s talk,” she nonchalantly said.
