The Kenya Medical Training College and the Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) have released the controversial results of the medical college’s September intake.
The release comes despite a court order that prohibited KUCCPS from carrying out the placement exercise for KMTC and a subsequent declaration by the National Assembly’s Health Committee that required KMTC to carry out the process afresh.
A message from KUCCPS stated that the results had been released and all successful candidates had been notified via SMS.
Now, the KMTC has come out to issue guidelines on how successful applicants can access their admission letters. Ironically, the KMTC admission letters are to accessed via the KMTC admissions portal that was previously used to select applicants.

“Congratulations on securing a chance to study at Kenya Medical Training College! To access your admission letter as well as obtain joining instructions, please log in to your KMTC portal,” stated KMTC.
To login, candidates will need to use use their primary email as their username and password as their KCSE full index number.
“To download your admission letter as well as obtain joining instructions, please log in to your portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke using your primary email as your username and password as your KCSE full index number, (starting with the year of the exam) e.g., user name: [email protected] password: 202220465003001,” KMTC stated.
