Kenya Airways (KQ) has marked 1,700 flights from Nairobi to New York. This comes as the national carrier marks five years since it started flying from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport.
“We are celebrating 5 years milestones of 1,700 flights and 72,000 kilometres to JFK Airport,” said KQ.
The national carrier announced that in marking these milestones, it will be increasing its flights from Nairobi to New York from October 29, 2023.
“Starting 29th October 2023, we offer you additional flights from 4 times to 5 times weekly from Nairobi to New York,” said Kenya Airways.

The airline also announced that from December 4, 2023, it will fly daily to New York.
At the same time, KQ says that to 5 years of touchdowns at the JFK Airport, it will be offering travelers discounted fares. “We are offering up to 15 per cent + USD 15 off on flights to New York and beyond that are purchased from up until 31st October 2023 for travel from October-November 2023 and January-March 2024,” said KQ.
In the same vein, Kenya Airways has also increased its flights between Nairobi and London. Starting on 29th October 2023, Kenya Airways will be flying twice daily to London from NairobiÂ
