The Kenya Revenue Authority is set to auction over 157 vehicles. The vehicles will be auctioned on November 2 in Kilindini.
The vehicle models that have been put up for auction include Mazda Demio, Volkswagen Tiguan, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Hiace, Toyota Prado, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover, Range Rover, BMW.
Audi, Toyota Hilux, Suzuki Swift, Subaru Outback, Subaru Forester, Toyota Spade. These vehicles will be sold alongside other items the Kenya Revenue Authority has declared as unserviceable.
The extra items will include electronic materials, construction materials, medical equipment, housing items, food products, sound systems, clothing material, and housing items.

The KRA has asked interest bidders to visit the full list items that is available in the gazette notice volume CXXIV-No 200.
This list includes details regarding the vehicles such as lot number, ship name and date, date of arrival, container/chassis marks and number, container size, consignee, manifest number as well as the bill of lading (BoL) number.
“Pursuant to the provisions of section 42 of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004, notice is given that unless the under-mentioned goods are entered and removed from the Customs Warehouse within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, they will be sold by public auction on the November 2, 2022,” the gazette notice said.
