KRA to auction vehicles online from as low as Sh. 169,000. See how to bid

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is set to auction vehicles that have been priced from as low as Sh. 169,000. The auction will take place until February 5, at 8:55 am.

In the online auction, the least priced vehicle is a Suzuki Alto which is priced at Sh. 169,333.

The most expensive vehicle that has been listed for auctioning is a Toyota Land Cruiser which will go for Sh. 3.8 million.

A used Audi A3 will go for Sh. 807,000 while a Mercedes Benz C180 will go for Sh. 1.3 million.  At the same time, a Subaru Legacy Sh. 1.2 million. There are other vehicles that have also been listed for auction.

To view the vehicles on auction, you can visit the online platform ibid.kra.go.ke.

On the home page, the participant should click on auction to navigate through the available auction lots and click on view for more details.

Bidder is required to log in using his iTax portal credentials (PIN and Password) in order to participate in the bidding process.

Once you log in successfully, KRA states that you should accept the terms and conditions to participate in the auction. You will then be expected to select the vehicle you wish to buy and place your bid above the reserve.

“Click on submit a bid and then confirm. After submission the system allows you to update or cancel or cancel your bids,” states KRA. If your bid wins, you will get a confirmation message via your account.
