The Kenya Tea Development Agency Management Services Ltd (KTDA MS) has announced the sale of various items from its managed tea factories and subsidiaries.
In a notice issued on May 29, KTDA said it intends to dispose of over 20 motor vehicles and a variety of industrial equipment through a public auction.
The listed vehicles include utility pickups, trucks, tractors, and tipper trucks, with valuations of between Sh400,000 and Sh2.69 million.
KTDA is also auctioning ICT equipment and used industrial machinery, including a 2013 Universal Chester lathe machine, several boilers from the late 1980s, and a Stamford cylindrical generator rated at 450KVA.

Interested bidders are encouraged to view the items in person at their respective locations. The ICT items are at its Farmers Building offices in Nairobi.
Additionally, interested bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Sh2,000 per item and a refundable deposit of Sh5,000 for each motor vehicle.
Tender documents can be obtained at KTDA’s Procurement Office on the 3rd Floor of Majani Plaza, Koinange Street, Nairobi, during normal business hours.
Payment for the tender fee and deposits must be made via electronic funds transfer to KTDA’s Family Bank account.
Sealed bids should be submitted to KTDA by 9 a.m. on June 17, 2025.
The bids will be opened the same day, with outcomes shared with participants.
