Between January 2015 and July 2017 and August 2017 and January 2020… former Governor Ferdinand Waititu amassed wealth to the tune of Sh. 1,937,709,376.54. The EACC says that his wealth is not commensurate to his known legitimate sources of income.

Here is the full list of the properties ‘owned’ by Waititu that are being contested by the EACC:

1). Sh. 280 million houses in Runda, Lakisama, Migaa Estate, Runda Grove and parcels of land in Embakasi Ranching, Thindigua and Kayole.

2). Properties in Kabete area in Kiambu and Kitengela in Kajiado County registered in his wife’s name and companies Saika Two Estate Developers Ltd, Lexis International Ltd and Bins Management Services Ltd.

3). Seven vehicles all valued at Sh. 24.4 million.

4). Two prime buildings on Biashara Street and a hotel valued at Sh. 662 million.

5). Cumulative bank deposits of Sh. 1.3 billion.

The EACC says that Waititu amassed Sh. 928,873,317 and his wife Sh. 282,871,658. Sh. 906, 329, 068 went to Saika Two Estate Developers Limited, Bienvenue Delta Hotel got Sh. 56,924,332 while Bins Management Services Limited received Sh. 62,711,000.
