“Lynn Nyawira was selected as part of the 40 students from Kenya to study their undergraduate degrees in America,” Abogeta West ward MCA Kiogoria Matae who had been sponsoring Lynn said.
After sitting for her KCPE in 2017, Nyawira had nearly missed the opportunity to join a good high school. She had two other siblings who were in high school already and her mother was contemplating taking her to a nearby school due to lack of school fees.
Her siblings had also accumulated fee balances in their respective schools and their mother was yet to clear.
