Magoha: This is what will happen if there’s a presidential rerun

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has spoken on what will happen to the school calendar if there is a presidential rerun.

Magoha says that children in boarding schools will not be sent home. Instead, school administration will find a way to keep them within the school. “The students can be asked to play games and stay in their hostels,” he said.

Magoha said that the Ministry of Education would work with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to shift tallying centres from schools to other institutions such as universities.
