Mobius Car: Motor enthusiasts in Kenya have been left in shock following the release of the second generation locally assembled Mobius Mule.

This is after photos of an ill, badly put together Mobius Car mule that looks terrible regardless of it being a mule started doing rounds on social media.

The rough looking contraption looks way off the modern vehicle assembly prototypes. tPhotos: Mobius shocks Kenyans with 'terrible' Sh. 1.5 million Mobius II vehicle

Below is a sharp critic that was issued by leading Kenyan motor analyst JM. Baraza regardless of whether this is a mule or not:

“They said they will deliver…. AND THEY HAVE!!! Would you look at that marvel Of engineering right there!

Who needs the power of a Bentayga or the luxury of a Cullinan, or the looks of an Autobiography, or the handling of a Urus while, for the price of 3 used Nissan Wingroads you can avail yourself of an unpainted M-Pesa kiosk with wheels from a sofa and weld quality indicative of being put together by a drunk 3-year old?

Look at those unrolled fenders just waiting to slice your Ling Longs into two equal halves as soon as you hit the first bump! Transform your 195s into double 97.5s!
Gasp in awe at the sharp edges of bodywork just waiting to transmit tetanus to unwary pedestrians!

  1. This is clearly a test mule; Any motor enthusiast would know this. Perhaps research into the automotive build process would enlighten the author more on the stages from concept to final build?

    • I am not really a motor enthusiast, but I thought so. It could have been on transit somewhere or out on a test drive for all we know. It definitely cannot be an end product.

  2. Baraza knows nothing. All vehicles enthusiasts knows that what you’ve seen is called a”Development mule”. Maybe I would advice him to ask the experts.
