Comedian and content creator David Oyando, alias Mulamwah is largely known for living small despite raking good returns from his hustle.
In a recent interview Q&A with his loyal Instagram fans, the online sensation revealed that he is almost completing his mansion in Kitale.
Fans who were keen to find out more about the trained nurse had an endless barrage of questions directed towards him.
Mulamwah told his fans that his two-storey Kitale mansion has roughly cost him Sh. 8.5 million.
Curiously, one of the fans asked the amount of rent Mulamwah pays while living in Nairobi.
“Only Sh. 10,000. Why are you asking?” Mulamwah wondered.
In a past interview with Plug TV, Mulamwah revealed that he strives to spend less on his bedsitter rent, as he continues with his mansion construction in the village.
“It’s not like we don’t love living in a nice house; it’s just that we want to build and own that mansion first, then move inside.”
“There is no need to live in a big house when you are alone. Just live where you are comfortable and invest the rest of the money,” he stated.
The timeless query of whether to buy a car first or build a house first cropped up. Mulamwah shared his two cents on the matter in a metaphorical sense.

“This question is like asking who’s better between Messi and Ronaldo,” he told his fans.
“I know that money has many uses, and people have different preferences. Spend your money how you see fit as long as you don’t misuse it.”
Another fan asked Mulamwah how many cars he owned, to which the comedian responded that he did not own a vehicle.
“None. I only use matatus,” he noted.
