Mutula Kilonzo Jnr is the incoming Governor of Makueni County. This is after he clinched the Governor seat with 214,088 votes.
Mutula was contesting on a Wiper party ticket. During the Makueni elections, retiring Governor Kivutha Kibwana lost jis bid to become the Senator for Makueni.
Kivutha lost to Dan Maanzo. Maanzo managed to garner 117,273 votes to bag the seat that was previously held Mutula Jnr.
Joseph Ole Lenku beats Katoo Metito in Kajiado Governor seat
Kivutha on the other hand managed to garner 59,034 votes.
