Film director Phil Karanja has recorded yet another highly successful film launch. During the premier of the film ‘Click Click Bang’, which is a Phil-It Production, Karanja is said to have raked in Sh. 2.5 million from the sales of the tickets.

The premier enjoyed a sold out cinema that once again vindicated Karanja’s position as one of the best film directors in Kenya.

The premier of this movie follows the success of Phil-It Productions debut film, A Grand Little Lie, which was nominated for ‘Best Movie: East Africa’ at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

The movie exhibits a realistically heartfelt portrayal of what it means to be a young man in Nairobi, failed by the lack of systems not put in place to give you a chance to succeed.

The film touches on everyday Kenya themes such as poverty, a bromance, violence and the ever-failing Kenya system.

The filmmakers are Phil Karanja, Abel Mutua with Michael ‘Smallz’ Munyoki, as the director. It is produced by Denise Kibisu-Ngibuini.
