Film director Phil Karanja has recorded yet another highly successful film launch. During the premier of the film ‘Click Click Bang’, which is a Phil-It Production, Karanja is said to have raked in Sh. 2.5 million from the sales of the tickets.
The premier enjoyed a sold out cinema that once again vindicated Karanja’s position as one of the best film directors in Kenya.
The premier of this movie follows the success of Phil-It Productions debut film, A Grand Little Lie, which was nominated for ‘Best Movie: East Africa’ at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
This movie was also a top money maker that saw Karanja rake in over Sh. 4 million within the first few days of the films premiere.

The movie revolves around Kev, a super talented footballer and orphan with a sick sister to take care of.
The movie exhibits a realistically heartfelt portrayal of what it means to be a young man in Nairobi, failed by the lack of systems not put in place to give you a chance to succeed.
The film touches on everyday Kenya themes such as poverty, a bromance, violence and the ever-failing Kenya system.
The filmmakers are Phil Karanja, Abel Mutua with Michael ‘Smallz’ Munyoki, as the director. It is produced by Denise Kibisu-Ngibuini.
The main cast includes Basil Mungai in his first lead role as Kev Motego, Ian Isaboke as Kasisi, Jacky Vike as Mokeira Motego, Amina Hussein as Kadesa and Wanjiku ’Shigwan’ Ngendo as Mamushka.
