Kenyans were, on Saturday, May 20, wowed by a Nissan GT-R parked on the streets of Nairobi. The high-performance sports car is not popular on Kenyan roads hence the wide admiration.
It is one of the most expensive cars, with its prices ranging somewhere between sh14.5 million ($100,000) and Sh17 million on importation. The stiffer NISMO model is said to cost $210,740(Sh 29 million).
The Nissan GT-R is a sports car and grand tourer produced by Nissan, unveiled in 2007. It is the successor to the Nissan Skyline GT-R, a high-performance variant of the Nissan Skyline.
The car is considered powerful, and to call the GT-R quick is unfair as it is insanely, violently fast. It is equipped with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.

It can accelerate from 0 to 97 Kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 313 kmph. Instead of a large, heavy engine thirsty for fuel, the Nissan GTR is powered by an ideally sized 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 570 horsepower.
The GT-R has been hailed for its performance, handling, and braking. Inside, Nissan has done a decent job of keeping the GT-R modern.
It has nice leather seats, a bunch of performance data in the infotainment system, and a Bose audio system.
It is a popular choice for track enthusiasts and is also a comfortable and luxurious car for everyday driving.
