Many Kenyans have been fleeing the country for abroad jobs given the high joblessness in the country.
However, some of the Kenyans who move out of the country in search of greener pastures end up in the hands of rogue agents who swindle them or send them to rogue employers abroad leaving them helpless.
Such agencies operate without any certification contravening labour laws and making it hard for the victims of unscrupulous dealings to trace them.
To curb this, the Kenyan government through the National Employment Authority keeps a record of licensed foreign and local recruitment agencies, making it easy for Kenyans to identify fake agents.
The list can be accessed through the National Employment Authority Integrated Management System (NEAIMS). Below are some of the agencies with valid licenses to recruit Kenyans to work abroad.
