This market is known for its volatility and high risk nature, which is why it is mostly traded by banks and big corporate.
However a young South African trader managed to crack it and become Africa’s youngest billionaire. Sandile Shezi successfully learnt how to trade currencies and at just 25 he became one of the youngest multi-millionaires in South Africa.
He began his entrepreneurial journey at the tender age of 12 selling muffins at school. grew up in a small town and developed entrepreneurial instincts at an early age. He says that he drew inspiration from Sandile Zungu, a successful businessman who heralds from the same town.
“I spent a number of years, more than a decade, living in these streets. However, for me, it’s not a lot of young people or a lot of black people who make it out of this township and do well for themselves. But at the same time, there are people such as your Sandile Zungu’s. He grew up in this township and right now he’s running one of the most successful companies in South Africa. And he’s one of the people that I used to say, you know what, if he can do it, why can’t I?” said Shezi.
Over the years he has managed to build business relationships that have lead him into establishing one of Durban’s most successful Forex training company which he named Global Forex Institute based at Mhlanga, Durban, South Africa
