Does this fuel increase power in a normal car? Well, the answer is no. Shell V-Power has a higher octane rating as compared to normal unleaded petrol.

Does this fuel clean your engine? Yes it does. Premium fuels such as V-power have some additives called detergents which act as a ” Soapy sponge”. I do do not intend to get too technical in this article by adding chemical formulas so, lets just leave it at, yes it does clean your engine. It also reduces friction in your engine thanks to the additives.
Does this type of fuel help your car achieve better fuel economy? If your car is suffering from higher than normal fuel consumption, you will need to have an extensive check on it, V-power will not help with that.
5.What is the Octane rating of the V-power sold in Kenya? According to the official Shell V-power sold in Kenya has an octane rating of 95 RON.
Is this performance fuel worth the price? In my opinion, yes it is. It might not be necessary but once in a while give your car some V-power.
