Stanbic Bank announces mass auction for used motor vehicles

In collaboration with different auctioneers, the Stanbic Bank of Kenya has announced a mass sale of motor vehicles. The notice dated 23rd August revealed that the sale would be conducted in Nairobi, Kisumu, Kitale, Kisii, Meru, Ruiru, Nakuru and Mombasa.

The auction features various vehicle models, including Subaru Foresters, Mazda CX5s, Isuzu NMR, BMW 218, Nissan Note, Suzuki Escudo, Ford Galaxy, Trans Trailer 3 Axle Flat Bed, Tata Lorry, and Mercedes Actros.

Participants in Stanbic Bank’s auction must pay a non-refundable fee of Sh. 2,000 per vehicle. Bids must be submitted by August 30th, 2024.

The bank clarified that the vehicles will be sold on an ‘As is where is’ basis. Bidders are also permitted to submit offers for multiple assets listed for sale. Vehicle viewing must take place at the designated storage yard before placing any bids.

In Nairobi, this shall be done at Phillips International Auctioneers in Kileleshwa, Startruck Auctioneers Yard and Purple Royal Storage Yard located along Kiambu Road, Auckland Storage Investment Yard and Jogoo Road Motors Yard located along Jogoo Road.

Other vehicles can be viewed at various parts of the country such as Femida Storage Yard in Kitale, Pambo Auctioneers at Kisumu, Leakeys Storage along Mombasa Road, Muwasa Motors in Kisii, Mt Kenya Storage Yard in Meru and the Matriz Moves Yard in Changamwe.

Stanbic Bank has also listed several other viewing locations including Integra Storage Yard in Kitengela, Flamingo Storage Yard in Nakuru, Delax Motors Yard in Meru, and Capitol Diamond Yard in Ruiru.

Bids received after the closing date shall not be considered.
