In mid 2015, Co-operative Bank began to issue car insurance stickers to motor vehicle owners from all its branches across the country.

The product which operates under Co-operative Bank’s Bancassurance docket revolutionized the provision of insurance policy to motor vehicles by being the first to get finalized within ten minutes of an order. “Printing of motor vehicle insurance certificates means a significant reduction of the turnaround time to a maximum of 10 minutes,” says Co-op Bank.

The car policy cover has two main components:

    • Motor private TPO: Provides cover for any third party property damage and third party body injury

To get covered, you will need the following five documents:

  1. Log book
  2. Driving License
  3. Insured ID
  4. Pin Certificate
  5. Valuation report if available.
