Furniture, electronics, household goods at Tuskys Nakuru to be auctioned

Tuskys Nakuru: Goods worth millions belonging to Tuskys Supermarket Nakuru Midtown branch are now set to be auctioned. The goods will auctioned on August 8. This is according to an advertisement in the dailies yesterday.

The auction is set to be undertaken by Legacy Auctioneers. The properties will be sold off to recover over Sh. 12 million rent arrears. The items include generators, fridges, gas and electric cookers, blenders, television sets, furniture and other household items.

The auctioneer says that he received instructions from owners of Riva Plaza to dispose of the assets to defray rent arrears. “In the matter of distress for rent, we have received instructions from our principals (the landlord), we shall sell by public auction items belonging to Tusker Mattresses Limited (Tuskys) on August 8 in the basement of Tuskys Nakuru-Riva Plaza, Kenyatta Avenue opposite Avenue Suits, Nakuru Town. Viewing of the items is possible during working hours by prior arrangement with ourselves before the auction date,” said Legacy.
