Uhuru Donations: President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined the donations bandwagon after making a Sh. 100 million donation to the Eliud Kipchoge library project.
The money was delievered at Kipchoge’s home village in Kapsisiywa in Nandi County by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
According to a report that appeared in the Daily Nation, Magoha said that the President would personally visit the school and have it commissioned within the next six months.

The donation comes amidst a recent controversial leak that appeared to portray the president as being clueless on why Kenyans are currently broke. It also comes amidst controversial allegations that donations are being made by political leaders from the tax payers coffers.
I don’t know why Kenyans are broke, says Uhuru
Kipchoge made history as the first man to run a marathon in under two hours when he clocked 1:59:40 at the “Ineos 1:59 Challenge” on October 12 in Vienna, Austria. Kipchoge’s time was not recognised as a world marathon record since it was not a World Athletics-certified and rated course.
Magoha warned government officials who would attempt to embezzle the money from the President that they would be sacked. He explained that Kipchoge had petitioned the President to build a new library and school complex in his home village and the Head of State dully responded.
