Former radio presenter and current member of parliament for Lang’ata Jalang’o has sensationally claimed that a majority of Kenyans applied for the 2024 US Green Card.
The member of parliament alleged that 30 million Kenyans applied for the highly coveted lottery game that ended this week.

He said that this meant that only 20 million Kenyans want to live here, as the majority of Kenyans are ready to give up their citizenship and move abroad.
“30 million Kenyans have applied for the green card lottery. So only 20 million of us want to live in Kenya. Is it that bad?” claimed Jalang’o.
The US Green Card lottery, which is also known as the DV Lottery (2024) registration period opened on October 5, 2022, and closed on November 8, 2022.
Entrants will be able to enter their confirmation information to check if they have been selected to immigrate to the United States on May 6, 2023.
