Fredrick Meyo is the Founder and CEO of Mefric Financial Consultants Limited, a tax and accounting business that offers accounting and tax services to organizations and individual business owners.
The certified public accountant and tax expert who is now helping other entrepreneurs scale their businesses revealed he diverted to entrepreneurship after three years of working as a part-time tax consultant.
”I was working in the service industry performing part of the payroll duties but in the evening ,we could meet with my friend in town who was working in an audit firm and perform accounting and tax services like monthly PAYE returns,VAT ,Monthly Rental Incomes and Bookkeeping,’’ he says.
His expertise in the industry saw him attract customers into fold, including his colleagues at work who would approach him for tax consultancy services.
Having built a name for himself, Meyo decided to turn his expertise into an income-generating venture.
He launched his own firm, Mefric Financial Consultants Limited, to serve his growing customers and address some of the challenges that hinder business expansion.
The firm, located at Fedha Heights in Fedha, Embakasi, Nairobi, offers various financial services, including accounting Services(Accounting Software Installation and bookkeeping) and Tax Consultancy( Tax Preparation and filing).
Others are Business Advisory(Company/Business Registration & Conversion) and Financial Consulting, among others.
